When is the new Connect for Android rolling out?

Finished a 100km trail race with close to 5000m of Total Ascent and someone thought it's an insignificant data so let's park it inside Stats instead of keeping it in the Overview page. Any idea when the new Connect is going to be released? I hope to see Total Ascent restored soon, along with the ability to declutter by removing the [ Add Note ] space.

The only thing new in the beta (at least what we can see) is the My Day page. Everything else is the same. It is the same app.

That page is the exact same in the Connect beta. Will the overview page change again?

Doesn't the new one allow users to customize data field in the Overview page? I must have misunderstood what I thought was a new feature.

That's disappointing. Everytime I reached out to Garmin to restore Total Ascent in Trail Running, they said to submit a suggestion.

Makes sense. Only the use of the centralized request system can help them finding out which features are the most demanded, and adjust the priorities of the development teams accordingly.

Thing is, Total Ascent has been on the Overview page since the very beginning going back when it used to be called Elevation Gain. Someone decided that Elev Gain wasn't an important data field for Trail Running activity.
