The Jump Rope activity is very new. I think it was added in January this year.
That app is old and when it was created there was no Jump Rope activity to log it as. Maybe Garmin will update it but I don't think so since the new watches get the new Jump Rope activity and it works.
I tried previously switching some previous cardio activities to jump rope, but it seems to have lost access to some of the logged fields & data, & still still didn't see the jump rope badge.
It always says that. In most cases you don't lose anything.
Note that the rep count is logged as a Connect IQ field so it will not be counted as jump rope reps. Only the new Jump Rope activity can log that.
Also the 30 minute Jump Rope can't be awarded by using that app. Log your Jump Rope as strength and then change type to Jump Rope.
It looks like the previous Cardio activity I logged with the app, but later converted to Jump Rope had some other corrupted data when the jump rope app froze when uploading & only recovered with a watch power cycle.
After converting a few more successfully uploaded Jump Rope App logged Cardio events to jump rope, the badges started to appear. Now it send I just need to schedule an hour to convert 99 more Jump Rope App logged Cardio activities to Jump Rope to get all the badges.
