Change of "Event Type"

When I change the "Event Type" in the activity, the change after saving the operation, fails and I have to resort to Garmin Express to change it.

    Hi, in the android Garmin Connect app, when editing an activity the category is not saved; it stays always `uncategorised`.

    Same problem, still. GC Mobile 4.77.1 on Sony Xperia 5 III, with Android 13.
    Couldn't find this issue mentioned anywhere, except here.
    Very Annoying, especially because changing the event type in GC-mobile isn't easy anyway, and made obscure after the recent app-layout changes. Why?

    I received an update today via email from [email protected]. 

    We're following up on the report we received that after changing the event type for your activities in your Connect app, the change wasn't being saved. We're pleased to report that this issue has been resolved with the 5.0 release of our Connect app, which is available now. Please update your Connect app and you'll no longer experience this issue.

    I tested this. Changed the event type for my last run from uncategorized to fitness. It saved correctly.
