What exercise can I use or create in Garmin Connect to reflect an eclecting indoor training which includes different exercises?

I train twice a week with a personal trainer, indoor. It´s an eclectic training, involving some work with weights, several excercises with my body weight, some cardio and light stretching. What activity can I choose or create to reflect this mix up training? I use a Garmin Forerunner 965, and I would like to have an exercise already set in my watch, thay I can simply start when I start each training session. I don´t need series tracking, just basic heart reate, calories, etc. Thank you.

  • You can use whatever fits your needs best (from the point of view of available data screens, and recorded data) - for example Strength, Cardio, HIIT, Pilates, ... Cardio is probably the simplest since it does not do the rounds, weight, and repeats monitoring. Calories are based on the HR, so the type of activity is unimportant.

  • Thank you for your answer. For this specific mixed training i have finally decided to use Pilates, which tracks only time, calories and heart rate (with zones). I have changed the name to "Personal Trainer - Pilates".
