You can set the default gear based on the type of ride, but I use a couple different bikes for road rides: I have my road bike, and my gravel bike I use for bikepacking (on roads) and commutes (it has a rack which is handy for both). I can change it later, but thought it might be worth putting this is out there to allow Connect to set the default based on profiles since it does seem to know which profile I used.
