Import Naming

Hello there.

When I find a course for my area online and download it to my Connect App, I am unable to edit the name from the default date name that comes with creating/importing a course, is there any fix for this?

    Same here, this seems to be a reoccurring thing, consedering the amount of forum posts on this previously. Garmin, can you please improve your development process so that a simple regression as this doesn't happen anymore?? And please fix this!!

    Not sure I understand the problem correctly, but I have no problems changing the name of the imported course to whatever I want. I always did it, and it never failed. Could you elaborate closer, why you think you cannot change the name?

    I use the Edit function, scroll down to the name, and then simply enter the new one:

    That looks like an iPhone? The interface looks very different on my phone. Changing the name is easy, but the save button does not save the new name, it just keeps the old. 

    Adding a screenshot doesn't seem to work unfortunately.

    No, that's on Android, although I have both of them and it works on both phones in the same way. Saving works fine. You can perhaps try clearing the cache of the app, force stopping it and restarting, and then trying anew. If nothing helps, rename it on Garmin Connect web. Another workaround possibility is saving it as a copy with the new name, and then deleting the old one. And yet another workaround option is changing the name directly on the watch.

    Whenever I try to change the name of the imported route, the save button will just disappear, though I did manage to change the name on Garmin Connect Web as you suggested so thank you for that.
