Venu 2 not recording Distance

I recently got my new venu 2 watch so forgive my ignorance. My watch automatically recorded this activity today which is fine but it never recorded the distance of the walk. My GPS is on the the app settings, is there something I'm missing? Also the starting position is incorrect as it should be the same as the finishing point.

The only thing I can think is I haven't inputted a stride length yet but if it shouldn't need this to calculate distance. If is can plot the route on the map GPS is definitely activated

Yes, GPS was clearly working. Custom Stride Length is often used even during GPS activities, although mostly just as a backup when the GPS signal is weak, and the accuracy level not reliable. It is little bit surprising though that the total distance is zero - I'd expect perhaps a shorter distance at worst. Try setting the Custom Stride Length, and if it does not help at the next walk, I recommend contacting the Support.
