Most of us got a value set without doing any cross country skiing. It has been discussed a few times and nothing has changed. It is still there.
I think it is set when you do one of your first activities or when you log your weight for the first time. For oldies it got a date from when that metric was added. My FTP is from 11 May 2022.
I've got the same issue. Easy enough to ignore, but does this value corrupt any other data? Feels like this is a resulting value and not an influencing value, but you never can tell with Garmin's locked down platform. That said, it sure would be great to be able to erase it!
hi Guys, see my reply here:

so, it's related to some default value which is set by you when you were fidgeting with your Power Zones data in your User Profile. then it comes up, and - sadly - it's impossible to get rid of it starting from that point. shame on Garmin that they were unable to understand the root of the issue and provide a solution for more than two years.
Here’s a solution

Nope, XC Ski is still there in FTP report.
