If American Express wanted to be part of a payment program like Garmin Pay, they would do it. If you research AMEX, it took until 2021 for AMEX to join Apple Pay. I hope AMEX will consider joining Garmin Pay too.
This is a blame game You blame Amex and Amex says that you do not want to sign the agreement. I hardly believe that Amex is telling me stories. I am talking to Amex Centurion customer service and that department does not usually invent stories which are not true. As somebody in a previous blog mentioned, please, pay the higher fee and get on board. You are losing business, and you will lose more customers who appreciate the better customer service Amex has vs VISA or MC. Speaking for myself, I am going to dump my Venu 2 Plus if Amex will not be available in the near future.
