How to update my Garmin express?

When I tried to change my VENU SQ watchface through the Garmin IQ app with my compatible watch, it say to update my Garmin Express, but when I did it keeps switching to Garmin Connect.

Where are you trying to do the update? Garmin Express is a software application for a Windows or Mac computer.

Not possible. Only works on a Windows or Mac computer.
