Garmin Pay asks to renew card - Epix Pro

I've received a couple notices from Garmin that my bank card need to be renewed (the card is not even close to be expired).
The expiration date came through and I couldn't pay with the card anymore through the watch.
I've removed it from the app and whenever attempted to re-add it, it just fails over and over again.
Since this card was working a couple days ago and my wife also has a working card on her device (Venu 2) currently working, is anyone able to indicate what the problem might be and provide some hints on how do I manage to re-add the card?

My thought is that your bank in your country has changed their policy starting on the new year. Or maybe their contract has expired. Have you checked that your bank is still participating - Garmin International | Garmin Pay Participating Banks. Some countries have a very limited number of choices.

Is your wife using the same card? If so, that is odd that hers continues to work.

Thank you for the attempt to assist.
Indeed the bank remains on the list and yes, my wife uses the exact same card therefore I believe the issue lies on Garmin side.
