App Notifications Page - Frozen

Hello - My App Notifications page is frozen when trying to enable Notification Access on Android phone.  I get a pop-up message stating "Allow Connect - Connect will be able to read all notifications..." that freezes the screen/app.  I have to close the app completely to get out of it.  I've tried reinstalling Connect, restarting phone, verified both phone and app are on current versions.  I tried chatting with Garmin help but was disconnected after they failed to solve the issue.  I'm attempting to set this up for a new Vivoactive 5 so I can recive notifications on the watch for SMS etc.

This occurs when selecting ...(more) > Settings > Notificaitons > App Notifications.

  • I was able to resolve this by turning off a number of items in the quick settings (swipe down from top of screen twice).  Not sure which one did the trick but one of them was interfering with the setup.  I suspect it was the Work Profile but can't be sure. Once I got the watch/app all set up I was able to turn them back on and it seem to work fine.  Hope this helps if anyone else runs into the same problem.
