All data missing from midnight

I have a Garmin Forerunner 745 and I have a frequent issue where all of the data is missing from midnight until a random time in the morning.

I am wearing the watch all night and I'm pretty sure the data is being recorded to the watch. I think the issue might be when syncing to Garmin Connect.

This is a very commonly reported issue and there seems to never be a solution for it. I have contacted Garmin support but only received a template email back with some links to troubleshooting guides that did not solve the problem.

How do I post a screenshot?

I wanted to show what I still get. I had previously tried turning off BT. No solution.

If disabling the BT syncing over the cable did not help, then it looks more like the watch is crashing a few hours after the midnight. Check out the crash log.

Actually if I remember correctly I did a WiFi update after I got up and before I turned on BT. Did not try GE.

Disable both the WiFi and BT for the night. Sync in the morning over the cable.

Yes, I'll have BT/Wifi off until it happens again. Then GE.

What intrigues me is that the Sleep stats are there during that period, and I would think that the HR and RES data has to have been available for the watch to calculate the sleep data. So I would not expect a "crash" unless the sleep data was also null for that period..

Have you solved it? I am in the same 12 night.15.77 tactix amoled and connect mobile ios. Between 2-3 am

Hi Martin3s, welcome to the missing data club, we are many. There is still no solution currently. Garmin were denying my case for a long time, then when lots of evidence was presented they told me that they had created a support case for me. That was months ago and I have heard no updates. nearly every day my data is missing. The saga continues. I don't think it will ever be solved, or I will have a new device by then. I think Garmin doesn't care.

Yesterday i removed watch from connwct web and re enrolled to My account. I disabled only wifi. I adjusted the battery saver to not change anything.i updated time thru gps( not phone). Last night i were getting contonuos read. And i found that in my watch glance if i roll back the hr o see the bpm that in connect web are missing. Still trying to solve. I will Let you know.
