I bought the Fenix 7 Pro Sapphire Solar partially for the ECG feature. But it never worked for me. I worked with Garmin Support, and after providing Garmin Connect and Garmin Express logs and a video of me attempting to use ECG, they had me send it in... and they shipped back a new one. Whew, what a relief, and shipping was very fast.
However, with the new one, Install ECG App no longer appeared in the Finish Setup. I uninstalled Garmin Connect and reinstalled, removed my backup, reset all settings for the watch, but could not get Finish Setup to start from scratch. So I created a brand new Garmin account with a different email address. Finally everything showed up on the Finish Setup screen under the Device screen. EXCEPT... no ECG option.
Did ECG only work for 80 or 90% of the customers, so Garmin has removed that feature from this device... for now?
