My Day, use to be green now it's always Red. It registers the day but information does not go to my history

Could you post a screenshot of what you mean?

If you see an activity in My Day it is synced and saved in Garmin Connect. Which history are you looking at?

The only colors in my day I can think of are the background color of the activity cards. The colors are connected to different types: Walking is Green, Running is Red.

That use to be green 

The color is what it is and it depends on the type of activity you've done. Maybe you used a different type before.

Here you used "Track me" which is a subtype of Other which is Red.

Green - Walking and Cycling

So how do I get it to go to walking and cycling that's green I must have hit a button

You can edit that activity and change the type to walking and it will become green.

On your watch you select walking instead of track me when you select the activity profile.

Okay I got it to go green but the next problem I have how do I have the timer in the distance while I'm walking on the face of the watch

Which watch do you have?

The online manuals are great help and will tell you everything you need to know about how to edit data screens and fields for the activitities.

The default fields for most outdoor activities usually are timer and distance.
