App improvement suggestion

It would be nice if we could enter daily notes on the smartphone Garmin Connect app as can already be done for activities, but for tracking lifestyle changes (think dietary, activity, medication changes, etc). It would allow for easier correlation of the health metrics and those changes.

  • You can add notes to the Calendar on Garmin Connect Web (https://connect.garmin.com/modern/calendar). Unfortunately, notes are not available on the app, for some reason. On the app you could use the notes available on Sleep screen, though - tap on the Sleep Score panel, on the daily sleep screen, scroll to the bottom, and there you can use the button Add Notes. Alternatively, you could also create a custom activity, name it for example "Notes" or "Daily Summary", start it from the watch once a day for a second or two, and then add the notes to the activity in Garmin Connect.

    Otherwise, I recommend submitting your suggestion to Share Ideas | Garmin, where it has some chance to be considered, if it is a frequently requested feature.
