After following an event, garmin can not connect

There was a local running event today, and my friend created an event calender. After joining the event calender and finished the run, Garmin connect is showing error. It happened to few of my friend.

It said to clear the cache. I did it, nothing change.

I tried to uninstall n reinstall the Garmin Connect Apps, but did not do any good

Pleas help.

What does the error message tell exactly?

You could try removing the suspicious event in Garmin Connect Web (https://connect.garmin.com/modern/event-dashboard), and then test whether you can open the app.

When i open the apps, it tries to sync for a while, then the apps is off by itself

Originally you wrote the app was showing error. My question was, what the error message exactly told - it could perhaps help localizing the problem.

Anyway, as I already advised, try removing the event through GC web. It is possible it crashes the app for some reason. Does it contain non latin characters? In the past there were already issues with some features when they included certain characters. So if you find that removing the event through the web allows you to open the app, then you can report it to the Support, send them the link to the event, and ask them to fix the bug.
