How to change date

My garmin 235 shows the wrong date. I can set the time, re pair, sync etc but nothing changes the date to the correct one.

Any ideas?

Make sure time on the watch is set to "auto" and then go outside and get a GPS fix.

Thanks so much! So all my faffing about and all I needed to do was go outside Doh!
