By now, I have skimmed through all of the forum posts with similar issues to no avail, so i am posting myself.
I got this watch 3 weeks ago, it paired correctly and effortlessly ton the first day. Yesterday night, i go to sleep as usual and i noticed this morning that my watch was nto paired with my phone anymore. Going into the Connect app, i tried to connect again but it kept failing at the pairing step, without giving me a 6-digit code on the watch.
Does anyone have an idea of new things to try, because i went through everything in the troubleshooting guide...
Linked below are screenshots of the 3 steps that occur everytime I try to pair: it finds the watch but won't finish the setup.
What I tried:
- turn watch/phone/bluetooth off and on again.
- Reinstall Garmin Connect (v4.72 as of today, and also 4.71 using an apk)
- Factory reset the watch.
- Plug in PC, use garmln express
- Check activity .tif files for corruption
