Feature Request

I have multiple Garmin devices (watch, edge) and would really love to have per-device alert settings in the app.

For example, my job requires me to have a reasonable turnaround for text messages and emails, which I have enabled as alerts on my Garmin devices. This is great when I'm not riding my bike as they pop up on my watch and I'm able to respond as quickly as my current situation allows. However, when I'm riding, they distract me from what I'm doing.

It would be great to have the ability to have those alerts on my watch but not on my Edge. Perhaps I'm missing something in the settings, but this would be a huge boon.

At present, I have to go into the app and disable all alerts when I go for a ride and then re-enable them when I get home.

Perhaps another way to do this would be to have a per-device "whitelist" of contacts who make it through to the alerts system. For example, a work-related contact will not send an alert on my Edge, but my wife asking me to pick up milk on the way home would.

I do not have any Edge, so cannot try it, but alerts already are device based, so what happens when you disable them either directly on Edge or in the device settings of Edge on the app, while you keep them on the watch?
