Fitbit sync to connect?

Hi!

did anyone managed to get atleast steps synced over to garmin? (yes! i read all kind of posts several years back without any luck)

i'm using fitbit at work since i work in mining (dirty environment) so dont want use my new epix there Slight smile

cheers/H

  • You need a Garmin device for logging steps. If you do not want to wear your Epix, you could buy a cheap 2nd hand old simple device. Either a watch, smartband (that you can also wear in the pocket), or just the Vivoki (only a pedometer), or even a HRM-Pro. The chest strap would record also other metrics like the HR, Intensity Minutes, Calories, etc, but not everybody is willing to wear it a few hours a day. On my mind one of the old Vivo... models is the simplest choice - you can get one on the 2nd hand market for a few bucks.

  • yeah.. i figured that the easiest is to buy some cheap garmin as last option if fitbit sync seemed impossible
