Can't add visa card to Garmin pay

I can't add my card to Garmin pay

I can do everything to the final stage but it then says card declined and I can't add it to my watch

Visa wells Fargo debit card

I just tried adding my WF debit to my new Garmin and had the same result. Reddit says it was because WF recently stopped working with Garmin due to fraud. Bummer.
