Hydration data not updating for new hydration streak badge

I've bee updating my hydration data on my fenix 7x sapphire solar for the past few days and no progress shows on the new "hydration streak" badge.  my hydration data is synced to connect and shows in my app under the history for the past few days.

  • My Hydration Streak Badge is updating on the Garmin App but not the Garminconnect  website.

  • There is something odd with that badge, but it still seems to work after some time.

    When I looked yesterday I had 3 days progress. This morning the progress was gone even though I added water. Now 2 hours later I got 4 days progress.

    I see the same progress both in app and web.

    Just continue to report hydration and it will hopefully work after 30 days and award the badge.

  • Yes, that is exactly what I am seeing.

  • I had emailed garmin who responded back saying it shows up from what they see. 

    Here is the response I sent them.

    It was not tracking earlier today, but now is.  The only thing I did different was that typically I start a walking activity in the morning and use the resume later to continue it throughout the day.  Intermixed in that I had been tracking hydration using the glance on my fenix 7.  Those days it did not update.  Today I saved my activity around lunch time and then inputted all the hydration for the day, made sure to sync to my phone and then started a new activity for the remainder of my walking for the day.  Tomorrow I plan to try it the way I had been doing before by using just 1 walk activity all day and still record hydration throughout the day and see what happens.

  • I then yesterday during an activity adjusted hydration and now the badge again shows zero.  it seems doing it while in an activity, or even with an activity in "resume later" mode blanks out the info.  I'm going to again split my walk for the day and input my hydration and see if it catches all the data back up.  If it does then a good temporary workaround is to be sure to update hydration outside of activities or paused activities so that connect catches up.  this is defintiely a bug though.

  • And now again if i'm not in my activity and update hydration then it shows my progress in the badge.  

  • It sucks here, too. Vivoactive 4. It adds and removes the progress whatever it likes. 

  • Well it's fixed now, and in an email they admitted it by advising it's now fixed.

    We're following up on the report we received that when viewing the progress of your Hydration Streak badge, the badge would only sometimes show your current streak and would other times show no progress even though you had met the requirement multiple days in a row. We're pleased to report that this issue has been resolved and if you open the badge you'll now show your current progress toward earning it.
