Heart rate for activity logged afterwards

Former Member

Hi all

I logged an activity (boxing) after it was completed. I was wearing my Garmin watch during, so it has my heart rate data for that time. In the activity however, it does not show average and max heart rate. Is this expected for an activity logged manually afterwards?

Thanks!

Val

Yes, you need to record the activity with your watch (or with a chest strap & watch) in order to get the HR data.

That's what I was afraid of. The data is there though, sucks that it can't be inserted into the activity

  • The all-day HR data is averaged and logged in 2 minutes intervals. It is completely useless for other activity related metrics, and that's why it stays on the all-day graph only, where you can always consult it, if you really need it for some reason. Better than that, is not forgetting to log your activity with the watch, though Wink
