No HR & steps data with Android

I've been happily syncing my data via WiFi for a few mo ths without issue but since adding an android phone and using the app all *** has broken loose.

First my 245 wouldn't sync to WiFi so I used the app. Now I've noticed that HR & steps data are not being uploaded to the app or the dashboard despite syncing several times through the app & by WiFi. (I can see the data on my watch so I know its bring collected)

I've wiped the app. Disconnected & reconnected, the only thing I can't do is connect to a PC as I don't have one now.

The only other thing I did was change my email address, but surely that's not the cause?

Is this a server thing? An android thing? Or something I've done?

    Arpund the time it started acting up I'd changed my email & added the app to my new A14

    And today.. activities with all data has been recorded but no HR or steps.

    It also looks like the time it stopped recording all data was the exact time that I registered the 245 to my account. I have an email with the exact time on. Could that be it?

    Did you create a new Garmin account using that email address? That might explain some of the discrepancies - Data is Missing from My Garmin Connect Account After Syncing | Garmin Customer Support

    You could check by using the connections search on Garmin Connect Web - https://connect.garmin.com/modern/connections/search

    Enter your new and old email address into the search box to see what the result is.

    Yes for some strange reason it did create a new account despite me only changing my email address. When I realised what had happened I deleted that account (email confirmed that) and I signed into the old one and made sure it had been done correctly this time. 

    I can see in your links I can import data for activities (using a PC I don't have ) but how do I import the daily data?

    As I've deleted that account will it have deleted the watch from that account? And if it has, why is my recent data not syncing?
