The Garmin handicap system is based on the World Handicap system. So the calculation will be based on your most recent best scores, and the tee box selected when beginning the round.
The Approach S10 does not support the handicap scoring feature some of our other devices support, which allows the user to use a local handicap, or handicap per hole manually.
