Cannot delete travel trip from Calendar in Garmin Connect Android Mobike app

I have a Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 with the latest software version of the Garmin Connect Mobile app (v 4.70.1 for Android). This is paired to my Garmin Epix 2 Pro Sapphire, which also has the latest update.

Yesterday I erroneously scheduled a trip abroad for September (when it will actually occur later in the year).

When I noticed the error this morning, I tried to delete the trip and it is sort of "grayed out" (more like a subdued color). I am not able to delete it. I do no't have the option for some reason. Any ideas what I could try to do in this instance?

By the way, I also tried to delete the calendar entry using the PC version of Garmin Connect in both the Edge and Chrome browsers to no avail.

I scheduled a test trip to Paris on the 22nd. I also could not delete it on either the app or the web. Guess I'm going to Paris on the 22nd.

You might want to contact Garmin Support to see if they are aware of this issue.

You can edit or delete it in the Training & Planning -> Jet Lag Adviser.

For whatever reason it's impossible to do it from Calendar
