My watch shows kilometres when I walk but I want it to show miles. How do I change it on my actual watch?

I can see how to change from km to miles on the app but on my actual watch how do I change it so I can see me walking/running in miles?

Which watch? On many newer Garmin watches it's System > Format > Units > Distance > Miles.
