Pulse Ox & Breathing Removed Overlay On Sleep

Why in the world did you remove the pulse ox overlay on the sleep?! That's the first thing I look at in the morning. You've also removed the detailed breathing. I monitor the pulse ox along with the breathing and movement. This isn't a toy watch. Put the important health measurements back.

  • Pulse ox and respiration overlays are there. Scroll the overlay buttons sideways.

  • I agree, why is it removed from the front page and I have to go looking for it. It doesn't tell me the low spo2, I don't like this change.

  • What you describe is not working for me. If I scroll sideways, it takes to me to the previous day, which doesn't show pulse ox or respiration either. I've tried rotating my phone, nothing happens with that either.

  • Put your finger on the body battery button and slide to the left. Then you should see pulse ox and respiration.

  • To enter this response I couldn't enter it on the online computer Connect but had to copy it and paste it on the phone app. I get (error occured, please try again or contact admin.) Are you trying to make things more difficult?

Huh, that doesn't do anything but take me to the body battery for the
previous day (and it only shows body battery, nothing else.)

I just plugged my Garmin to the computer, opened and logged into the Garmin Connect on line via the Garmin Express on my desktop (with a message that my Garmin is not connected, but it definately is?)

Once in Connect I can scroll down to Sleep and scroll across to get my
Sp0z overlaid over a small timeline of deep/rem/light sleep bar. But
there is no way to view respiration on this page.

So if I want to see all 3: sleep, respiration and pulse ox overlaid, I
have to log into the website, and then hold my phone up in front of me near the computer screen to view the respiration while also scrolling through the sleep on the Garmin Connect to see the pulse ox.

I find this backwards to remove it from the phone app and make us log into our computer account to see this. Considering that most of us probably don't often view our data on our computer, but rather on our phones, it would be wise to put this information back on the sleep part of the phone app.

  • In the app when you click the sleep card and watch the sleep phases there are a number of buttons below the graph. "Awake/restlessness", "Heart rate" and "Body battery". When you click them you get different overlays. If you hold your finger on one of them and swipe to the left you get more buttons.

  • Ever since I got the watch years ago it has been these three directly on the sleep timeline: PULSE OX, RESPIRATION and MOVEMENT that were layered over SLEEP. It has NEVER been heart rate and body battery on my watch!!! Not only did Garmin make this change last week to my watch, this afternoon, all my sleep data from years before is gone from my watch completely. I was going to take this to my doctor's appointment to talk to her about the Pulse Ox and Respiration, but Garmin has BLOWN OUT EVERY PAST RECORD.

Now tonight on Sleep I can see the scroll to the right for more values. But when I select PULSE OX it is just WHITE zigzags, with NO COLORS and if I put my finger on it to show details it doesn't show PULSE OX green, orange and yellow colors, JUST WHITE. Before when I selected PULSE OX it would display all the values colors so I could get a quick look at what times did it drop down into orange or yellow. Is Garmin out of color somehow? How much patience do you think my doctor will have looking at this as I try to describe how this used to work visually with colors.I wish that Garmin would send out an email before they start making all these changes and ask people if they like the new look or would rather keep the EASY TO READ straight forward displays that we are used to using. Meanwhile I have no previous records anyway and they never told me that was going to happen either.

  • I too am annoyed that on the desktop app (which is where I go to see the small details that are hard to see on my phone), I am no longer able to overlay Pulse Ox, Respiration, and Heart Rate on the Sleep Summary page.  The buttons are all there, but only ONE of the graphs will appear at one time (they don't overlay).  Furthermore, the Pulse Ox graph line is just solid black now, whereas it used to be green/yellow/red based on the SpO2 percentage.  Even more annoying is that now the graph itself is relegated to use only the right half of the screen, whereas it used to be full-width.  Please restore the Sleep Summary page to its former glory (about a week ago).

  • Also annoyed that there no longer detailed pulse ox data overnight - this is a key feature of the watch for many of your users

  • I had the same issue. They added the body battery bubble. I read the answer in an above post.. Now you must slide the bubbles,  not the page to see pulseox.
