Today sleep duration has disappeared from the app and the sleep score has moved to the bottom

There hasn't been an app update, but suddenly today stuff has moved around on the main screen. My sleep duration and sleep score when available are shown close to the top somewhere, but then weren't showing up today. I found the sleep score right at the bottom of the main screen though.

I went to "edit my day" and see sleep score is right at the bottom, but I didn't put it there. Also the sleep duration has completely disappeared and I cant enable it again - it's not in the hidden cards section or even in the "health stats" menu.

Have the normal sleep duration and the sleep score tiles been combined into 1 now?

  • I have the same issue.  "Sleep" is no longer listed in Edit My Day, either in the "hidden" section or otherwise.  However if I login to the Connect website I can see that the sleep analytics are being processed and displayed there, in a different graphical (and not very obvious) format.

  • Have the normal sleep duration and the sleep score tiles been combined into 1 now?

Yes. That is exactly what has happened.

  • I came here just to see if others have experienced this change.  Personally, I would prefer to see the breakdown of sleep: Deep vs Rem etc.  I almost exclusively use the connect app on my phone.

  • Is there a changelog somewhere for when there are changes made like this? So we know if it's meant to be like that, or if something is broken :)

  • thought it was just me. Problem has become that (on my phone at least) I cannot change the sleep duration. That is probably OK for those who jump out of bed but less so for those who spend time awake in bed first.

  • I have seen that I can change the sleep duration for my latest sleep by choosing "edit sleep times" in the sleep score section menu, but I don't have that option for previous days.

  • Thanks for the heads up there. Must have been looking at earlier days.

  • I hate that they've done this.   I want the sleep data to confirm how many times I awoke,  etc. But,  I've never cared for the score card.   It's depressing.   I don't want to see day after day that I slept FAIR or POORLY.   I always left sleep on top of My Day and Sleep score deactivated. Now I'm having the assessment crammed down my throat and the graph I like doesn't even appear!   There is a "Reload Chart" that doesn't work.

  • Same problem here.  Fenix 6X Sapphire linked to Android version of Connect app.  Issue just started today.  I tried restarting my watch, restarting my phone, abd removing/re-adding my watch under "devices" in the app.  None of those fixed the issue.

Then I uninstalled the Connect app, restarted my phone, and reinstalled the Connect app.  That *temporarily* brought back the "Sleep" tile in "My Day."  But when I tapped on the tile, it took me to the "Sleep Score" tile's details screen.  When I went to re-order the tiles in "My Day," the Sleep tile wasn't present in that list.  Backing out of the reordering screen without making changes preserved the presence of the "Sleep" tile in "My Day," but any attempt at re-ordering the tiles resulted in thr "Sleep" tile disappearing and being replaced with the "Sleep Score" tile.  Finally, the Sleep Score tile disappeared on its own as soon as the app  auto-synced with the server.  My training status tile appeared and the Sleep tile disappeared at the same time, which makes me think the server sync is causing the issue.

I don't have a solution yet, but I'm hoping this info will provide a lead for further troubleshooting.

  • Also of note: the "Sleep Score" tile didn't appear when the "Sleep" tile was visible and vice versa.
