I dislike the new view that only shows the high and lows of the days. Is there a way to get the old graph back?

I totally agree, please please please change the Body Battery back to the previous graph. This new one is pretty much useless. I need to see the 7-day and 4-week detailed graphs to look for patterns in my severely debilitating ME/CFS. I got a Garmin Forerunner 255 about a month ago, specifically to track my Body Battery and Stress levels through the days and weeks. Why would you want to take away something so useful, that really help people track their energy levels? With this update, the watch is only half as useful to me, so will you give me a 50% refund? Or better yet: please just change it back to the old graph!

The comment below is spot on, we need to see where we started the day and finished, and when we drained quickly or managed to recharge in the day, not just the overall number. There are thousands in the long covid and ME/CFS Facebook groups who use a smart watch specifically to help us pace and get useful feedback to monitor our illness. In those groups, there is a huge bias towards garmin watches for one main reason: the body battery. If you blow it, you risk losing a vital part of your customer base who now have no reason to choose garmin over a cheaper watch, and you are removing a feature for no good reason that was helping a very sick community of people to live just a little better.
Please think about what you've done!! All will be forgiven, we just want you to put this right!!

Like a growing number chronic illness sufferers with fatiguing issues (I have me/cfs plus dysautonomia. Many others now have long covid) I specifically chosen your brand because of the body battery (BB) feature along with the heart rate alerts in the yoga activity.
Due to my conditions my BB 'charge' and 'discharge' rarely happen up and night and down during the day. I have included some pictures to explain.
Whilst I like the new daily display changes for BB, the 7 day and 4 week is now useless. This is because my peak and dip won't be at the start and end of the day. By only displaying the uppermost and lower values all the data is lost about when that happened during the 24hrs. It's effectively taking the same information and appearing to alter it.
I am in favour of other changes, such as the way the sleep graph now allows me to overlay heart rate and body battery against my sleep cycles. But the long term BB change is a real issue because there is now no way of regenerating the cummative pattern of the data again after that day has passed.
I really hope this isn't another case where your many chronic illness sufferers get overooked. For example, I'm in one group on Facebook using smart watches for pacing for long covid and me/cfs with 4.8k members. I'd estimate 70%+ chose Garmin specifically for your body battery and stress features.
Please provide a way of accessing that old graph style, even if it's a toggle feature on the page that can be turned on or off like the overlays for sleep.
See attached photos. Sadly not exactly matching data points due to the way the Connect app works
Another voice from me to bring back the line, as it is vital for Post-Covid sufferers like me to see what the body battery does during rest/activities. It is one of the most helpful tools to support pacing, which is vital. Please, at least allow an option to revert to the old format.
New body battery graph, less information, less helpful to users. Why? Please bring back the old useful 7-day and 4-week line graph.
I am recovering from cardiac ablation and the old body battery line graph proved invaluable in not only tracking my recovery but in pacing my very busy life style. The new graph eliminates the longer term tracking of energy patterns throughout the day that I found critical to my recovery efforts. The new graph is now useless for this purpose. What is sad is that my cardiologist was so excited about how I was using it and how it almost exactly and objectively corroborated his patient recovery observations; and now the tool he could recommend to his patients has now been rendered useless. Please bring back the old line graph so I don't have to search for another tool that gives us what we need.
+1. Hate the new graph, the old graph was a primary reason for me to wear a Garmin watch. You guys made a mistake. Please correct!
Agree with everyone. The new data presentation sucks.
Yes! Garmin, please bring back the old graph for the 7-day & 4-week views. I realise that some people may prefer the simplified view, but having an option to toggle between the detailed graph and the simple one would make everyone happy.
I have a lot going on in my life (stress from multiple sources), and my battery drains down to 5% every day. So for me, it has been very useful to see when I hit 5% and to see that on a longer term trend. That way I could tell which events in my life were leading to me bottoming out earlier, and then I could try and manage them from there.
After the change was brought in on the app I wasn't happy, but on the browser-based portal it was still possible to view the detailed graph for the 7-days and 4-weeks periods, so I figured I would just use that instead. But now the same graph change has been carried over to there as well. So now there is NO detailed graph anywhere for longer term trends.
PLEASE bring back the ability to view longer term trends in more detail.
