Importing activity fails with "We don't support the file type you tried to import."

Hey,

I have a football activity from yesterday, that was not synced. When I tried to copy it from the device and import it manually, Garmin Connect told me, that "We don't support the file type you tried to import."

Is there any way to import this file? Someone I can contact? I tried https://www.fitfilerepairtool.info/ already, but I cannot get the tool working.

    • Zip the file, then in a reply post Insert >> Image/video/file >> click Upload >> browse for file >> OK.
    • Or upload the fit file to a reputable file sharing service, such as OneDriveGoogle DriveDropbox, make the file public, then paste a link to the file in your post.
  • Hey. I tried this and it seems to have worked. I did not _remove_ anything, just exported it again immediately. It imported it now as a multisport activity with only one activity inside, but that's ok from my perspective.
