Outrageously High Max Heart Rate Displayed

.

GC for Android is displaying very high spikes in maximum daily heart rate that are incorrect. On a particularly aggressive day of running uphill, wearing a chest strap, my EPIX-2 records my HR right around 184 (sample screenshot provided has no such herculean activities). The GC app in 7d and 4w time scales shows me with peaks in excess of 210, some above 220.  Extrapolation algorithm error or some kind?  Note that GC for the web doesn't have these high values, instead showing values consistent with what I did on those days. While having the app display appropriate max values would certainly be nice, I'm more concerned with where such max HR values might be contaminating other "fitness scoring" algorithms.
