Hi all. I've just bought a second hand Garmin index s2 scale and am having trouble connecting to the Garmin connect app on my android phone. Every time I have tried it it finds it, I enter the code and then after a few seconds it says pairing failed. When I retry it freezes. I have retried this many times (after removing the scales from the Bluetooth list in my phone's settings) and have reset the phone/scales too. I've even tried in installing and reinstalling the app.
I have a forerunner 745 which is working and uploading data perfectly so I don't suspect the app at fault.
Could there be a random setting preventing it? Any help would be greatly appreciated
