A heart rate monitor that won't actually give you your heart rate (HRM-Pro)?

Just got my Garmin HRM-Pro Plus and after *trying* to see my real time heart rate on my phone I came across this on the Garmin website: "HRM-Pro Users: The app can only display historical data and is not capable of displaying real-time heart rate data." Do I really need to return this product after ~1 hour of trying to get the most basic function (monitor my heart rate) to work?

It's your decision. If it doesn't do what you want, then I'd return it.

Alternatively, you can use another app instead of garmin…
