Bluetooth cannot pair edge 830

Garmin connect freezes 1/3 into pairing from Android phone to edge 830 device.

Workaround: Downloaded connect app apk in version 4.22 and it could pair phone and 830. Afterwards app can be updated.

I have similar - Still fully functional Garmin 810 wont pair new Android 18 phone...wifi off/on, factory reset, gets past introduction & 6 digit but just wont establish pairing so no phone delivered rides, shame Im going cycle camping soon.
