Wrong stress level values in sleep points

It looks like the app is not able to calculate the correct stress level average value. As you can see from below screenshot, there is no way 30 is the right value for that graph. This is quite annoying since it has a big impact on the overall sleep points. Are other people experiencing the same?

  • Do you see the same error for other days? Your value should probably be around 10 with that graph

I checked my values and I get the correct average stress values for all days at least one week back in time.

  • Yes I do but the strange thing is that some of the days seem to show the correct values so this appears to be a random issue. The below is from yesterday and again the calculated value of 20 is far from correct. The device connected to Garmin Connect is Fenix 6X Sapphire.

  • Hi,

i have the same issue. Stress level in sleep score show to be too high. Let’s say I sleep from midnight until 7:00. In sleep score the stress can be 22, while in normal stress level it shows as 15. exactly the same 7 hrs. It only happened now and then, but it is annoying…

Did you find a solution to this? :-)

  • I have the same problem too. Not every day, but randomly, like this morning, when the graph clearly should produce a score much lower than 23. No idea why, but if anyone finds out, I’d love to know

  • I have reported this today to Garmin support since the stress level average values are now wrong at least once a week. Hopefully they will be able to get this resolved.

  • I startred to have the same issue since two weeks ago after more than one year of using Garmin. How did you solved it?

  • For me the situation was improved when I one of the latest Garmin Connect updates was installed. Occasionally I can still see sometimes the average values being wrong but not as much as they used to be.

If you have all latest firmware version(s) installed and your Garmin Connect also has the latest version running, I would report this problem to Garmin.

  • It is annoying that this still has not been fixed yet. Had this issue twice during the last week and it killed my streak for sleep series achievement Wink

Average stress level in the general widget is around 10 pts lower than in the sleep calculation for the same period.

Latest Connect App and FW (Fenix 6) installed.

  • I decided to send another bug report to Garmin support about this issue. I find it unbelievable that a simple issue like this continues popping us every now and then. I would also like to understand why Garmin does not publish any release notes for their software releases and bug fixes. I have absolutely no idea if my initial bug report ever reached Garmin's development team.
