Can I connect a different calorie counting app?

I use Nutracheck for all my weightloss and health management. I pay for this as an annual subscription as I find it far more user friendly and reliable. Unfortunately I'm not able to link it to my Garmin account. I was hoping this would have changed over the last few years, but hasn't. Is there anyway this can be adjusted to be able to link my preferred app?

Ask Nutracheck to acquire the access to Garmin's Health API, and that they write the necessary interface for syncing their data to Garmin. I think they will need to negotiate with Garmin, because I believe the standard Health API offers only the read access to the data in Garmin Connect. They will need an elevated access similar to what MFP has. And that probably comes with some extra cost in licensing fees, and for the certification process.

It's weird as I can connect nutracheck for activity calculator. But not calories consumed.
