Garmin venu sq not syncing after updating to 4.70

After updating to 4.70,

The watch is connected to the Connect app on android, so it shows live stats like heart rate, but it won't sync.

I tried to remove the device from the app, delete it from the Bluetooth association, turn off the watch and the phone, start both on again and pair the device again through the Connect app. The pairing works until the syncing step, when after around 1 minute waiting it shows an error "an error as occurred - There were problems syncing".

I have 2 years of data on the Connect app and I don't want to lose them resetting the app..

What can I do? Hope someone can help me. Thanks

I solved the issues connecting the device through Garmin Express on my pc. After some updates, I was able to sync the data on that (losing the last 3 hours of data and my last workout…

You won't lose activities by resetting the app. They are all in the cloud on Garmin Connect. Just make sure to log in with the same account when reinstalling the app.

Thanks for the advice.

I solved the issues connecting the device through Garmin Express on my pc. After some updates, I was able to sync the data on that (losing the last 3 hours of data and my last workout), then I tried again on the Connect app on my android and it seems to work.

Hopefully is solved, maybe it can be helpful for someone else.
