What does the personal record description say? (It's truncated on your screenshot). It's possible that it's a "most steps in a week" record. The current week ends on may 21, but perhaps there's already enough steps for a new week record (and it will be updated as you gather more steps).
Or perhaps you had a wrong date set on your watch.
It is the record of steps per day, and the date of the record does not take into account the date of the computer. And it would be impossible to record those steps as of a date that has not yet arrived, for more information I have not yet reached that step record either, I have only had the Fenix for three days.
If you only had it for three days then every day will add to your weekly record for this week. The montly record should behave in the same way and show May 31st, but it is accumulating the steps day for day.
It would be perfectly possible if for some reason the date on the watch was set to a future date.
Sure, of course, but the clock synchronized the date from the first start time with the date of the phone, it was correct. That doesn't seem to be the problem
