Daily calories strongly reduced

Hello all,

Since two days, my registered daily burned calories are strongly reduced. I usually had between 2000kcal (no sport) and 2700kcal ; but since yesterday, I have 1300kcal (no sport), with no reason.

I have a Fenix 6 Pro, since last January.

Would you have any advice, please? Thanks.

  • It looks like even your Resting Calories (blue) are lower than before. That normally happens only when on the following values change: age, gender, weight, height - so verify the settings of the watch, if the data did not change accidentally.

As for the Active Calories (green) - besides the body parameters, they depend greatly on the Resting Heart Rate and the Max HR, so I recommend checking how both values changed in the last days.

  • Hello !

You were totally right ! In fact, my baby (2 years old) tested my connected scale (Index Smart Scale).

So my weight parameter was modified from arround 60kg to 13kg, with an obvious huge impact in Garmin's algorithms ! I didn't know that these scales would modify the watch parameters... And I thought that these "smart" scales were suppose to detect different users (strong weight differences).

Whatever, funny explanation, and problem solved. Thanks again.
