Move IQ, why it can't at least report the Steps? It's an available data already...

Per subject...i found odd not even now with a fenix 7 and beta version 13.14...still two easy things are up in the air...long vibration&audio notification for incoming call and importantly a more intelligent Move IQ that can report at least the steps and any already available data.

Steps are always logged by your watch.

In what way do you want Move IQ to report your steps?

Yes I know, what I mean is that when I open the calendar of activities, I see a MoveIQ activity and it just reports the start time and duration (i.e Walk, start time 16:00 duration 55 min. That's it! That's all?). I'd expect to see at least the "steps". Not that I care...yesterday I run 90min and run more than 15k steps...anyhow for completeness it'd be good to have that data as well. I see no reason why it can't be reported.

Steps are not reported for any activities.

You can view the steps in the steps graph.

You can display activity steps with numerous free and very simple CIQ apps, just check out the store and select one you like: Connect IQ Store | Free Watch Faces and Apps | Garmin

You just need true activities - so either manually started ones, or MoveIQ activities that trigger the activity auto-start (available only on select Vivo models)

Well with a 1000 euro Fenix 7 I've to use an app to simply see on my calendar a walk...how many steps or km or any other more meaningful data than start time and duration.... For other professional things I start an Activity (I'm a runner)....
