Garmin Connect v4.66 screwed up My Day layout

Hello everyone,

Garmin Connect Mobile for Android no longer looks good in the My Day page following the latest update on April 27th. All the widgets are now oversized with lots of wasted space and scrolling required. The widgets are now not easily legible and everything looks horrible in general (please see screenshot). Does anyone else notice the same?

My phone runs Android 13 and everything was looking nice until the last update.

    I agree, nothing is clear anymore. I have enough visual problems without having to scroll and peer at things to see my stats

    I don't know what they were thinking, the new layout is just horrible with plenty of wasted space and misalignment. It's like these developers have nothing better to do so they make some useless change.

    I'm also on v4.66. I'm not seeing the same changes. Confused

    Interesting, I wonder if these are some server side changes that only affect some users. I hope the next update fixes things to how they were for me.

    Same for me with the update today. Please rework the design it is horrible.

    I'm not either. Just got the May 2nd update. In my case, everything is fine as it was before. Nothing like what the OP posted. Might be because I'm running Android 10 on a Samsung Galaxy S9+.

    I'm running Android 13 on a Samsung Galaxy s22 ultra and experienced the same extra large tiles issue when I open the app tonight. I haven't seen anyone from Garmin as a moderator jump in and acknowledge the problem and that they are working on it. I do not want to change the font size or zoom size for everything else on the phone through the accessibility option. The Garmin connect app for Android displayed the perfect tile size for me and I'm very frustrated that they would make a change like this.

    I have a Samsung Galaxy s22 ultra running version 4.66 of the Garmin connect. When I opened up Garmin connect tonight all of the tiles were five times as big as they were before. I do not want to change the global fund settings for all my apps in order to reduce the tile size in the Garmin connect app. Does anyone have any suggestions or know if Garmin is actively working to change this back to the way it was May 2nd?

    Yes, we shouldn't have to strain our eyes in other apps because Garmin broke this one. Here is what I did, I contacted Garmin product support via email and the agent requested debug logs from my app and a screenshot of the Android font/zoom settings. They then told me that an investigation was opened and that they would contact me when further information is available, I should have also pointed them to this thread. I also suggest that if you are experiencing the same issue to contact Garmin support to report it, this way there is a high likelihood of them actually doing something.
