Editing Workout Order

I just did a wonderful preset workout on my Vivoactive but I felt I needed one more pose. I found on the connect app how to edit the workout and I added the pose... However, I tried to change the order, to put it where I think it'll flow better, but when I go to drag it up, the scroll bar scrolls with the touch, and so I can't move the pose and am rather just scrolling up and down the poses instead of moving the one pose up or down the list. I tried using my pinky finger and I think it may be a bug, but putting the scroll bar on the other side or the three-lines-to-move icon at the front of the listed workout would immensely improve this feature! If there is another way of doing this or am I missing something? Please help me out!

Thank you!!

  • I do not use the app for this purpose, so cannot help with that, but you can do it easily in the web version (https://connect.garmin.com/modern/workout/) - just catch the desired step by the 6-dot button and drag it to the position you wish.

  • BTW, I just tested with the app, and you can reorder the steps in similar way - select Edit, and then just tap on the step you want to move, hold for some 2-3 secs, and then drag it to the position you wish.

  • I'm using what you said many times but frustration is there every time I use it.

it works the first time and then, when you click and start dragging by the 6 dots, you move and cannot drop it anywhere because the long bar with two circles at both ends won't appear so you keep moving around and do nothing.

Last time, I had to redo the whole thing on a piece of paper, delete everything and just create it in the right order. Excruciating.

I usually is a big fan or Garmin but this is more than annoying.

I'm working on a ThinkPad Carbon X1, Windows 10 with Google Chrome.
