Device Disconnected / Reconnect Device Passcode

4/26/2023 I was out to dinner and looked at watch (Forerunner 945 ) and it had a passcode on the screen?!  Then so opened Garmin Connect and it told me to enter code to connect device.  Now this morning 4/27/23 it has done it again , saying Device Disconnected an asking if I would like to "Reconnect Device" then it gave code on watch, everything connects just fine.  Syncing and watch has seemed fine from my morning workout.  

Anyone else seeing this? Fix?

I have had watch for almost 3yrs I don't recall this happening .... 

Gonna reset watch and restart phone (A42 samsung)

  • This issue seemed to have gone away for awhile... but has now happened again multiple times in the past couple days.  Seems without other responses this isnt' wide spread?

    Not sure if it is the same issue, but lately I have seen Bluetooth issues with several different devices; LiveTrack stops working mid-activity, device shows 'waiting for phone', Garmin Connect Mobile wants to add the device as if it was new. The device is not un-paired from the phone though. Only disconnected from Connect.
