Why doesn't HRM1G show up in Garmin Connect

I have a s10+ samsung that supports ANT+, but when I try to use garmin connect to add the HRM1G device it does show up as an option.

The only one I see is the new HRM Pro

Because it is not among the supported devices. From Can I Pair My Garmin Sensor With the Garmin Connect App? | Garmin Customer Support

Only the HRM-Pro, HRM-Pro Plus and Speed Sensor 2 can be paired directly with the Garmin Connect app. Other sensors, including the HRM-Dual will require you to pair them with a Garmin watch, Edge computer, or a compatible third-party app.
