Have to sync twice to show sleep info

When I sync first thing in the morning, everything shows up except Sleep and Sleep Score. I have to sync again for it to show.

  • Yes, me too. However, if you wait until later it will show up on it's own. It takes a while for Garmin to put the sleep info together.

  • It's just funny that it's only been happening for a month or so for me. I never had to sync twice before

  • If you have one of the watches that had recently received a firmware update, adding the so-called "Sleep Mode", then the sleep data will not be closed and synced before the end of the Sleep Mode (either automatically at the scheduled time, or manually by terminating it through the Controls menu, or by starting an activity). Originally the sleep could be terminated, when the watch detected that you are awake for certain time, even before the scheduled time, and the sleep data was then synced immediately. The Sleep Mode allows to continue recording the sleep even after a pronged awake-time.

  • So can this be turned off permanently? I don't see any advantage. It still does not record naps.

You can turn off the Sleep mode, but then the watch will not track your sleep. You can also simply stop the Sleep mode as soon as you wake up, to have it terminated at that moment. Or you can change the wake-up time in user settings.
