Average pace issue

Since 30/4 , both of my run has been wrong....on Strava, it's totally normal, implying the raw data should be fine, but on Garmin connect Android app, the lap display calculation is de definitely off (notice how the step avg pace and the actual per km avg pace diff.).

We have been able to reproduce this internally and are currently looking into a resolution for this disruption. Once we have any updates, I will be updating this thread. At this time, no further information…

Hi all.

I'm facing the same problem.

Today I run a fast run of 3 km, for a total time of 14m08s

1k: 4.45

2k: 4.41

3k: 4.42

The averege mentioned from the system is 1m34s

Of course it is wrong

I hope you can solve this problem soon

The correct average pace is obviously divided by the number of rounds, this seems to be the fault. Hopefully they will recognize and correct this soon.

Hello

I am experiencing strange average pace readings on Garmin Connect app when I am using Run Intervals I the track instead of track run (this is not working after the infamous 11.28 firmware update) For example in 2km intervals I see average pace 4:20 on the watch and 1:32 on the app !! While if I check the analysis of paces per km it is correct in the app and the watch . The issue appears only with the interval average in the app. Any ideas ?

I have the same issue with android phone and enduro 2 Garmin is unsure of what is the problem.. All went wrong with the 11.28 upgrade.

The strange thing is that when you change the orientation of your phone (to landscape), it shows correct average pace. Hopefully this will be resolved soon because it is very annoying and hard to track your workouts.

I can confirm! When you change to landscape the average pace is correct! Samsung s21 ultra here ! Thanks for the tip.
