Hola, puede Garmin hacer una aplicación para espeleología?

He intentado hacer una aplicacion editando el "otros" para mi forerunner 945 pero no consigo que me cuente el descenso y el ascenso acumulado al no haber gps. Los parametros que deberia de llevar serian rumbo descenso maximo, minimo y altitud que mediría con el barometro y sacar graficas del descenso y ascenso acumulados.

  • También había pensado en esto en mi caso con el fénix 6x pro. Aunque no sería 100% preciso, pienso que el reloj tiene suficientes sensores como para trazar una ruta en una cueva basándose en la brújula, el giroscopio, el acelerómetro y el altímetro barométrico.

    GPS does not matter for the elevation. Barometric altimeter is used for that. Create your Speleo activity profile by copying the Floor Climbing activity. It will then include not only the total ascent and descent, but an elevation profile of your exploration too:

    Although it wouldn't be 100% accurate, I think the watch has enough sensors to plot a route in a cave based on the compass, gyroscope, accelerometer, and barometric altimeter.

    Good idea, but I am afraid it would be very, very inaccurate and could cause more harm than good. Consider suggesting it to Garmin at Share Ideas | Garmin, but frankly told I do not believe they would include it any soon (if at all). You will probably have more chance finding a phone app for that purpose.
