Garmin Edge 530.

After a session on my turbo trainer I've downloaded the information when finished. Why does the system not show any intensity minutes?

Edge 530 does not support the feature of Intensity Minutes. Only the newest Edge models like Edge Explorer 2 or Edge 1040 support that feature:

Terrible. If I'd known that i wouldn't have bought it. My older model supported intensity minutes.

I do not think so. No Edges except of the last generation support IM, and never did, AFAIK. The IMs probably came either from your watch of from a HRM-Pro chest belt (if you own any of them).
